According to Business Insider Japan, the average household income in Hsinchu Science Park, where TSMC’s headquarters is located, and its surrounding areas, is significantly higher than the rest of Taiwan. In particular, “Guanxinli” in the East District of Hsinchu City, the wealthiest area in Taiwan, has an average household income of 4.611 million TWD (approximately ¥22.83 million).
